Routeburn Shelter to The Divide · DOC huts

Reviewed scope
Walk from Routeburn Shelter via Routeburn Flats and Falls, cross Harris Saddle to Lake Mackenzie, then pass Lake Howden and finish at The Divide. DOC publishes separate stage distances and times; optional summits and transport are excluded. Three-day mountain hut traverse over Harris Saddle with substantial climbing and descending. Two hut nights at Routeburn Falls and Lake Mackenzie; endpoint transport is separate.
