These Terms govern your use of TrekReady, operated by TrekReady LLC. By expressly accepting them, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Train for the summit. Plan for the return.
Outdoor activities carry inherent and changing risks. TrekReady is a planning aid—not a determination that an activity, route, condition, plan, or person is safe or ready.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to use TrekReady. Keep your sign-in account secure, provide accurate information, and promptly update material information that affects planning. You are responsible for activity under your account.
TrekReady provides training organization, general-wellness insights, objective planning, editorial gear and guide information, and AI-assisted Coach responses. Outputs depend on available records, reviewed catalog information, user-supplied context, and automated calculations. They can be incomplete, stale, unavailable, or wrong.
TrekReady does not provide medical care, diagnosis or treatment; professional guiding or instruction; navigation; rescue or emergency response; or real-time weather, trail, road, fire, avalanche, permit, access, or mountain-condition information.
Hiking, climbing, mountaineering, travel at altitude, and physical training involve inherent and other hazards, including falls, exposure, severe weather, avalanche, rockfall, crevasses, navigation errors, equipment failure, illness, altitude illness, delayed rescue, serious injury, disability, and death. Conditions and individual capability can change rapidly.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you knowingly and voluntarily assume the risks of deciding whether, where, when, and how to train or participate in an outdoor activity. A TrekReady recommendation does not transfer those decisions to TrekReady and is not a promise that an activity is appropriate or safe.
You are responsible for:
Coach output is generated by automated systems and may contain errors or unsupported assumptions. It is general information, not a professional judgment or individualized safety clearance. Do not use Coach as the sole basis for a medical, training, route, navigation, emergency, or high-consequence decision. TrekReady does not guarantee readiness, acclimatization, safe return, or objective success.
Scores, trends, and plans are general-wellness tools. They are not medical devices or medical advice and do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a disease or injury. Stop activity and seek appropriate care if you experience concerning symptoms. For an emergency, contact local emergency services or rescue authorities; TrekReady is not monitored for emergency response.
Gear manufacturers, retailers, guides, operators, data providers, and linked websites are independent third parties. Inclusion is not a guarantee of product fit, availability, credentials, service quality, route suitability, or safety. Verify these matters directly. Any paid, sponsored, or affiliate relationship will be disclosed as described in the Privacy Policy; compensation does not alter editorial eligibility or order under TrekReady's current policy.
The Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explain data practices and rights. Health-data consent is separate from acceptance of these Terms. You retain ownership of content you submit and grant TrekReady a limited license to host, process, and display it only as needed to operate features you use.
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, upload unlawful or harmful content, impersonate another person, scrape private information, or use TrekReady to endanger, harass, or deceive someone. You may not present TrekReady output as a professional certification or safety clearance.
TrekReady may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may correct or remove content. The service can experience outages, sync delays, data loss, or provider failures. Do not depend on TrekReady as your only record, navigation source, or means of communication.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrekReady is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, noninfringement, availability, readiness, safety, or objective success. TrekReady does not warrant that recommendations or third-party information are current or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrekReady LLC and its members, officers, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, opportunity, revenue, or profits, arising from or related to TrekReady or an activity undertaken in reliance on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, their aggregate liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid TrekReady during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100.
These exclusions and limits do not apply where prohibited by law and do not waive liability that cannot lawfully be waived, including as applicable for fraud, willful injury, or violation of law.
You may stop using TrekReady at any time and may use the available export and deletion controls. TrekReady may suspend access for a material breach, security risk, legal requirement, or conduct that threatens people or the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including risk allocation, warranty disclaimers, and liability limits—continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by Wyoming law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where non-waivable consumer law requires otherwise. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction over the dispute. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will continue. These Terms and the incorporated policies are the agreement concerning use of TrekReady.
A material Terms change receives a new version and requires explicit acceptance before continued use. Questions may be sent to privacy@trekready.ai.
